improve documentation of disk reliability / backups

Hi, saw this and looks like a nice service, but I wasn't able to find any info on disk reliability / backups. I'd want to have a combination of services that need backup and others to just play around with.

Would I have to handle my own backups? Is the service generally geared more towards ad-hoc throwaway projects?
