Issue

Users are not notified when they surpass their disk storage limits on their subscription plan, resulting in unexpected overage charges without warning.

Problem Statement

A user was charged 50% above their current subscription rate due to exceeding their disk limit, but received no notifications (email or in-app) that they had surpassed the limit. This is particularly problematic for budget-conscious users (e.g., students) who expect to be alerted before incurring overage charges.
